Creating email aliases
Email aliases let you receive mail at multiple addresses in a single mailbox. Perfect for departments, roles, or privacy.
What is an Alias?
An alias is an alternate email address that delivers to your main mailbox:

Creating an Alias
- Go to Email > Select your mailbox
- Click Aliases
- Click Add Alias
- Enter the alias address
- Save

Sending From an Alias
In Webmail
- Compose new email
- Click the From field
- Select your alias
- Send as usual
In Email Clients
- Go to account settings
- Add alias as an identity
- Select when composing
Alias Limits
Aliases are included with every mailbox at no extra charge. The exact limit depends on your mailbox package - see the email hosting page for current packages.

Managing Multiple Aliases
Organize with Filters
Create rules to sort incoming mail by alias:
- Go to Filters
- Create rule: If To contains
sales@ - Action: Move to Sales folder
- Save
Track Alias Usage
See which aliases receive the most mail:
- Go to Email > Statistics
- View breakdown by alias
Deleting an Alias
- Go to Email > Aliases
- Find the alias
- Click Delete
- Confirm
Note: Emails to deleted aliases will bounce.

- Use descriptive alias names
- Create aliases before sharing publicly
- Set up filters to organize by alias
- Monitor aliases for spam patterns
